About Our Services

Every dog is unique. And every family he lives with is unique. Unquestionably, the relationships within every human-dog family are also individual. That's why Ain't Misbehavin' offers programs that meet a family's individual needs. While every dog needs to know his basic manners - and Ain't Misbehavin will teach these to your dog - everyone has different goals for themselves and their dogs.

How does it work?
When you call Ain't Misbehavin', we will ask you right away what it is that you need help with. Whether your dog needs basic obedience or you are contending with aggression, we will schedule a session with you. This first session consists of nothing but finding out about you and your dog. There is no better way to determine exactly what is going on than to ask very specific questions about the dog's behaviors, as well as your responses to those behaviors.

Based on the goals you outline for us, we will determine whether you would best be suited for:
-Basic Obedience Training Program, which consists of three more one-hour sessions,
-Advanced Obedience Training Program, which consists of an additional five one-hour sessions, or
-A Behavior Modification Program, which is designed based on the type and extent of the behavior issue

You can also opt to sign up one lesson at a time - it's up to you!

While Ain't Misbehavin' is a dog training organization, our actual mission is to train you how to train your dog. The goal here is two-fold. First, your dog lives with you - he does not live us! Therefore, he really needs to listen to you, it's less important that he listen to us. We will teach you how to make that happen. Secondly, we will give you the tools to continue training your dog long after we are gone!  That's why we can be successful in only four or six one-hour lessons.

All sessions take place in your home at a time that is convenient for you.

All training is done without harsh punishments or corrections - always remember, training should be fun for both you and your dog!
